Dr Xiaoying Xiong is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the FaBA Training Centre, where her research focusses on the analysis and biosynthesis of human milk nutrients.
Dr Xiong has expertise in both analytical biochemistry and new food product developments. She collaborates closely with industry and academic partners supporting innovation in food industry.
Prior to joining UQ, Xiaoying worked for seven years in the food industry, including experience with PepsiCo and Abbott R&D. She is passionate about bridging scientific research and real-world application to deliver meaningful impact in the food and health sectors.
