Associate Professor Sudhir Yadav
Senior Principal Research Fellow - Sustainable Agriculture
Associate Professor Sudhir Yadav is a Senior Principal Research Fellow at the Centre for Crop Science, The University of Queensland.
Sudhir's research focuses on sustainability indicators, traceability standards, life cycle assessment (LCA), and benchmarking methodologies to promote sustainable farming practices, improve environmental stewardship, and enhance resource-use efficiency.
He is currently contributing to collaborative projects under the FaBA initiative, focusing on developing Life Cycle Assessment and Techno-Economic Analysis frameworks for the precision fermentation of milk proteins. This project aims to create process design models for agro-industrial bioproducts and establish allocation principles for fermentation processes.
In addition, Sudhir is working on assessing the environmental footprint of various biotechnologies, such as tissue culture, and developing sustainability accounting methodologies and machine learning models to evaluate sustainability across different segments of the value chain.
