Justin Nugent is an outcome driven professional wanting to effect meaningful change for people and businesses by bridging the gap between research and industry.
Prior to joining FaBA, Justin was the Head of Quality Control at LuinaBio, Australia. LuinaBio was a Contract Development and Manufacturing Organisation (CDMO) operating in the pharmaceutical industry, with specific expertise in precision fermentation, microbiome products and animal vaccines.
At LuinaBio Justin managed the department responsible for raw material control, process analytics, product release testing, stability testing, utilities testing as well as the research and development of novel techniques for the assay of biologics and microbiome products. In addition to technical management, Justin also worked as a project manager for both internal IT and infrastructure projects along with client projects.
