evokeAG 2024 … And that’s a wrap!

The FaBA team headed to Perth in mid-February for evokeAG 2024. We were thrilled to sponsor keynote speaker Abi Ramanan who spoke about how hyperspectral imaging can be used to assess food quality and digitise food supply chains.

Hyperspectral imaging is the non-invasive, rapid measurement of foods, and has the potential to enhance decision making around foods.

“If a picture is worth a thousand words, a hyperspectral image is worth almost a thousand pictures,” explained Abi, who co-founded ImpactVision.

Abi was one of dozens of founders, advocates and deep thinkers who shared their stories and thoughts on the future of Australia’s agrifood innovation sector at evokeAG 2024.

FaBA representatives met with a range of potential FaBA Participants, which was a great opportunity to discuss future investment in our national F&B manufacturing sector.
