A Taste of Innovation: FaBA hosts Perth Executives Lunch

FaBA has brought together a vibrant mix of innovators and entrepreneurs for its first Executives Lunch in Perth.

Hosted in partnership with the Grains Research and Development Corporation (GRDC), the event focused on unlocking new opportunities for Australian producers to value-add to their food and beverage products.

The Hon. Jackie Jarvis MLC, WA Minister for Agriculture and Food, shared valuable insights on the role of food innovation in driving regional development and economic growth. Her remarks highlighted the importance of cross-sector collaboration in building a resilient and future-focused food system.

GRDC Managing Director, Nigel Hart, outlined the benefits of working collaboratively with GRDC and FaBA together.

A standout moment came from Mei Yong, CEO and Founder of My PlantCo, who generously shared her experience of co-investing with FaBA and the GRDC. Her story offered a compelling example of how strategic partnerships can accelerate product development and bring new ideas to market.

As FaBA continues to work nationally to accelerate innovation in food and beverage, events like this play a vital role in building relationships, sharing knowledge and identifying new pathways for growth. We look forward to continuing the conversation and seeing what we can achieve together.
